She completed her foundation training in East London, gaining valuable experience in diverse clinical settings. Following this, she expanded her surgical expertise as a Senior House Officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at King’s College Hospital. During this time, she refined her skills in oral surgery and developed a keen interest in the inter-relationship between periodontal health and other dental and medical disciplines.
Dr Shah is a dedicated clinician and is in the full-time Periodontology postgraduate programme at King’s College London, Guy’s Hospital. Here, she assesses and manages complex periodontal cases referred by dentists from across the London region. Her role involves providing expert care for patients with severe periodontal conditions.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Shah is committed to professional development. She actively participates in conferences and courses to remain at the forefront of periodontal and surgical advancements. She is passionate about integrating evidence-based approaches into her care and contributing to the evolving field of periodontology.
